I found planning is important. No matter it's from your study, your carreer path, your family, your financial, your own achievement or any other things. Without planning, I found there is no direction for life. You might find yourself stuck in somewhere, and not sure where should you be heading to. In short, you can only grow in age and may be size, but not grow in any other aspect without planning.
Some of your plans could also affect your partner's/family member's plan. It's always good, not to be selfished, share your plan with your closed ones. It's good that they share your plan, therefore you can have all kind of support from them, and check it out whether the decision affect anybody. Or is the decision impact going to hurt anybody. Perhaps you can get some good recommendation from them, or some references.
Do not see yourself as nobody. You are not alone. It's a chain effect, we are living in a group.
I have witness the no-plan person with unsuccessful life. He hates the world, as he lost himself, he thought the world hates him. He never know what he is doing, and he is not able to estimate his future. He is not aiming to the high sky, but aiming as low as the ground. Then, he might be then just seeing the ground for the time being, until the century he wakes up. And he disappoints his family, his love ones, his colleagues, and his closed friends.
Nobody can help you to plan if you don't help yourself. You are the one who is responsible for your own. If you couldn't come out with a long term plan, let's start with a short term plan, say daily plan, then to weekly plan, monthly plan, then may be upgrade yourself to yearly plan, then when you able to cope with it, by then you are able to do 3 years, 5 years, and 10 years plan. It does not need to be 100% accurate. Nothing is perfect. It's just function as a guide. At least you can see where you stand within the period of time.
I feel it more secure with some plan, even with casual plan. With plans, I reach my wanted destinations.
