back to work tomorrow!

After so many days stick myself on chair at college,
I have to go back to work tomorrow.

Hm...I found I am happy coz not going to work.
The pressure from work is different from pressure for study.
I am happier to take the pressure for study

I found myself was smiling all time ler (when the time I am not falling into sleep)

ha...luckily still got 2 days of Hari Raya holiday.

My new idol!

Finally, I met a responsible and best lecturer at Segi College.
His name is Dr. Steven Baptist. I just got to know his full name yesterday when I checked Segi Connect for assignment new deadline.

Thought he is Chinese...hm...seems like he is mixed then.
It's very difficult to find a lecturer who is helpful like him in Malaysia lar.....
Really appreciate him to be our lecturer.
Ohh yeah...he is the replacement lecturer for the very bad lecturer that I appealed to change ler...

Hm....really really thank him to take us.
I really do not know how he stay alive, as he work 5 days a week, and teach 2 days during weekend. When is his rest time ha? sai lei sai lei...

Stages of life & Coco Breaking News

Just now on the way to have dinner, Wayne, my brother said that recently his friends change life style. They are more sporty, go for swimming, badminton, soccer, and other sports. They seldom go for club, and yam char already.

My dad then commented base on his experience.

"Ha.....later when you grow up further, you will talk about different things. You will talk about family, then talk about money what kang tao. Then later, which doctor is good, which hospital is good, then which funeral organizer is good, and which cemetery fung sui is good."

hm....true eh.....I am at the stage of...talking about family, study, work, and Coco. Early stage :P hehe

Can you see blood at Coco tooth? She has her teeth broken when she teething this afternoon. My parents found blood on the floor, and her mouth. Pity coco.....

Deadlines

Hm....Remember? I am struggling with my deadlines.

1) 29/9/08 Law ass due
2) 3/10/08 Employment relation ass due.
3) Office/warehouse is moving from today till next Tuesday
- But I am on leave after giving proper arrangement and packed my own things
4) CCLean wedding dinner, and Fern's daughter full moon both on 27/9/08
5) Line up meeting from 6/10/08-9/10/08
6) 11/10/08-13/09/08 meeting at Pulau Pangkor

Therefore my plan was,
1) on leave on 25/9/08 and 29/9/08 to do law ass. Today I did Australian law, Sat I do China Law, then go for dinner/full moon direct from college, and Sunday I do German Law. Then on Sunday itself I have to read through whole assignment and arrange everything. Monday last check.

2) Tuesday back to office, to check on the moving.

3) Tuesday evening onwards, Wed, and Thursday to do Employment relation ass. Thursday to call Dr. Steven to check my assignment. Thursday evening/night, to do last check and amendment.

4) Friday back to work. Then I can go for Money Not Enough 2.
5) 6/10/08 onwards I can work as usual to prepare those meetings.


NOW, after yesterday evening class, the assignment extension for law class has been approved by USQ! We received the message today, and it's postponed to 10/10/08. HOW NICE! So I changed my schedule.

1) on leave on 25/9/08 and 29/9/08 to do law ass. Today I did Australian law, Sat I do China Law, then attend wedding dinner/full moon from college direct, and Sunday I do German Law.

2) Tuesday back to office, to check on the moving. Evening then I can go for Money Not Enough 2.

Hm...whenever, I am pressure, unhappy, or depress, I will go to cut my hair unintentionally.
And I have forgotten this, every time before I go to cut my hair.

I did it again yesterday. I just cut my hair real short last 2 weeks ago. Now, it's even shorter! REAL REAL short hair....

Later I'll have breakfast with my family. Perhaps can get my brother to take a pic of my new hairstyle :P Nothing much new....but...whatever inches that allow me to cut, the hair dresser has cut it.

Funny Dad

As usual, I called home after work to inform I am on the way back home. At the same time, I am actually checking whether mom is cooking on the day. Today nobody picked up from home fixed line. So I tried mom's cell phone, same response. Then Dad's cell phone. Ha.....finally....but I could not hear him very well, the line was SUX.

I heard..."Your Coco cried...bla bla bla...." I could not put the full sentence to understand what he said. But I said..."oh Coco...okay, let's talk when I got back ya".

After 20 mins, dad called me. "hey, where are you now?", I replied "I am at Tasik Selatan jor".
"eh...call back when you get near ya...." I wonder why...may be mom is waiting for me to get near only stir fry vege.
So I said "okay."

Dad then said, " I wanna make Coco to the window of my room to see you when you got back. See what's her response" heh! I was shocked :P

So...I did as per my dad request. I called home when I reached gate. So dad open his window!
"ehh....u horn horn!!" Dad commanded.
"no need lar, I use my car remote, then Coco will know I am back." so I du...du...my remote.
"eh...U called her name!" Dad commanded again.
"ehh...Coco!!! Coco!!!"
"ehh...see..?? she dare not stand higher, she just stood there to see you. Can you see her? See her or not?"

Then dad walked to his room's door to open door, wanna let Coco runs down to me. :P
She didn't run ler.....so dad commanded again from upstairs "eh call her name ler"
"Coco!! Coco!!" As usual, how I call Coco :P
Then Coco very nervous, and excited ran to me...VERY FAST!!!


Ohh some pictures to share! My mom was screaming, asking me to come down fast!!!! I wonder what it is. And here is the scenario ...Coco first time jumped to the tea table. She lately always jump to my mom's bed, and just now after showering for her, when I released her, she jumped to my mom and kept kissing my mom. hehe

子不教, 父之过...If direct translate this phrase, this mean the fault from a son, it's the fault of the father.

Well, why Chinese said this?
It's parents' responsibility to teach the kids to be good. They have to be in good faith. If they were not, it's because the kids are lack of education from the parents. Of course, that's the fault of the parents, since never put effort to teach the kids. They give birth of the kids, and it's their responsibility to teach the kids.

This phrase can be applied to superior as well. When a superior does not teach the subordinate how to behave in the company, and convey the message of company direction, of course the subordinate will not understand the total picture of the company is doing.

The peoples might lost of direction, and start to behave funny. It's the superior responsibility and obligation to rectify this kind of problems.

If the sons or the subordinates are not well educated, then in Hokkien, we called them "boh tak chet" (no study book). Or you can say them "mou gah gao" or "yao yeh sang mou lah gao" in Cantonese. It means, "no family education" or "got mother give birth no dad teaches" if I direct translate.

Those who has kids, and who has subordinates, please be responsible!

STRESS!!!

Am I too stress lately?
I think so. I have been too pressure, and could not sleep at night.
Those who knows me, I believe you know I am a sleepy head that can sleep any time, anywhere, and I do not have insomnia problem.

What else? I always eat so much, or eat too little.
What else? I have forgotten my lap top, left it home. I realised it when I reached office~

A relief night

It's been pressure and upset for whole week. Nothing good have been around me.

The yee hei's Shan Shan and I decided to go for good food :P Yeah....as usual that eat here and there. This time we decided to go Hilton for Japanese food, and then to the lounge for drink after dinner.

I have got a discount card from a friend, which we can enjoy 50%!! How nice! Who knows, the card holder has to be there in order to enjoy it!.... So we paid for full price! We have had luxury night!

Neh...After dinner we went to the lobby lounge for drink....

The most expensive thing we thought was the car park. RM 14 after discount. Well...Although it is almost the price we pay for carpark when we go clubbing, but the return of feeling is different.

Coco at Week 15

Hey .....Coco is 15 weeks old.

She is quite big in size already. I guess she is about 8-10kg at the moment.
She was about 1.79kg - 2kg at week 9th-12th. She suddenly picked up her weight, and size. I bet food is very important to help her grow big. You can roughly know her size by benchmarking her with the other furniture I have and door size.

Da bao

I usually da bao Malay food for breakfast, and sometimes for lunch.
And recently, because Puasa just started from 1/9/08, I can't find my breakfast.
Not even those fried mee hoon that I always buy from petrol kiosk.

They are not there.

Hm.....are those stalls just doing Malay business?
But usually I see many Chinese also line up to buy the Malay food.

Why not they sell it? Will they lose income for the month? How are they going to survive?
If they were selling at night, then why not also in the morning? Then they could have higher income.

Another Recommended Strategy to Use at Work

I mentioned about "I don't know" previously, as one of the good strategy at work.
And these weeks, I learned new things from old folk.

They said " I can't recall, and I have checked with my team we all never heard that."
or " I never said that!" While he discussed about it before.

It's very good to practice if you know how to use. You have to be pretend to be very sure and confident! And shout out loud that, "I NEVER SAID SO!" or " I DIDN"T SAY THAT".

But be careful when you use it. As the employer will see it differently, when everyone remember what you said. You will be then "UNFIT FOR EMPLOYMENT". So use smartly!

This strategy is adapted from ASS hole. (Big ass, but small hole....which means, can't function very well, but from outside, you thought the size of ass could function well.)

Rescue Dog

Coco was trying to play with phone at home.
Mom picked up the rotan and try to scare Coco..

My dad said " ehhh...don't lar.....Coco is rescue dog! She has to learn how to dial phone, so he can call when Min-Hui fainted at home"

Hm.....true....I always faint at home....It's good to train Coco to rescue me hehe....

Sick with 井底之蛙

I am tiring with typical Malaysian, who always act so big like knowing a lot. And in fact knowing so little and blow it big. They are like 井底之蛙 and yet laughed at others without using brain.

They knew how to say "use brain lar pls". But they do not know how to make use of their own brain function. They are good in talking, and arguing. Like Adrian said, argue with something unnecessary, which waste of our time.

Did we have a wrong move to study abroad? And did we make a wrong move to broaden our thinking? That made us like alien in our home country.

But no regret that we didn't join the froggie group, who always wanna prove they know more than you. And angry and hostile to you when found you know more than him. In Malaysia, it's called Kiasu.

I really pity these peoples, that hurt themselves and also hurt others mood. Sigh...I pity myself also as I have to work with these peoples.....that really hurt my mood, and waste of my time to explain to these peoples with unnecessarily arguments.

I don want 一般见识........trying to control my EQ, which is pretty high hehe

DYING!!!!!!!!!!

I just checked my exam schedule. I am taking 2 course this term. And both of the exams are falling on the same day! GOSHHHHH..........

Shit jor....Last minute student like me....I am sure I am dying@!!!!!

How???? hm.......shit!.........need to change my lifestyle temporarily jor

Kelly and Wayne's Wedding Dinner

neh...I blog about Kelly and Wayne wedding in draft yesterday.

I forgot to mention this....

During dinner, there was an announcement. "Ladies and gentlemen, did anybody see a Sony Election mobile phone in Ladies? If you found, please return here ha"
Most of the peoples laughed very loudly. Hm....the announcer was too into election lately bah :P

Then as I said, Wayne is my long lost primary school friend. He told me he recognized me, as I do not change (I wonder, don't I look prettier meh!!!). But when I walked in, I didn't know who is he, and he didn't even put initiative to say hello to me. Until he stood next to Kelly, only I know that's him. To be frank, I have totally forgotten this friend, and how he looked like.

Shan Shan told me the night before the wedding dinner, they were discussing about me. Shan Shan (Kelly's cousin) asked Wayne, what was his impression about me....Here was his memory....I wanted to laugh out loud:

有时我们还会通电讨论功课. (Sometimes we even discuss homework through phone)

My New Work Station Set-Up at Home....

Today I beh tahan with my 14" lap top screen anymore. My eyes getting blur, and worst.
So I drove to Imbi, and bought my 22" LCD monitor and on top of that, I bought a web cam, as well as a keyboard. Too bad, I got the wrong head of keyboard., so can't use yet. Temporarily I am still using my lap top keyboard.

Now, I love my work station so much. With the old speaker that I have, it's perfect home theater jor!!! Opsss....I meant work station :P
