Ladies, Ladies ladies ladies.....

Maintenance job seems like our life time mission. We always need to keep ourselve fresh, energetic, attractive, while we are fighting against aging process.

Therefore, we invest pretty much from our saving to buy maintenance, and improvements.

Some ladies think it's to keep her man's heart. But after some time, she will then realise that it's actually to improve her own confidence, and more towards self-satisfaction. More importantly, it's also help to improve her own health.

Announcement

Hey dearest friends,

It's just an announcement to you that, my blog will be written in English rather than bi-lingual in the future. I just don't want to neglect my english educated friends, who wanted to read my blog, but they don't read Chinese. It's very difficult to translate from Chinese to English, while i have to maintain the original meaning of the blog.

And now i dont like my direct translation too, it looks so formal to me. It's not the original meaning in the Chinese. But, it is just for "Banana friends" to get an idea about those Chinese words. You might see weird sentences, because...i am really running out of idea on the translation. Just because I am CHINESE EDUCATED MA!!! and most of the time when we meet, we mostly speak in cantonese or mandarin.

Anyway, if i had time, i will try to translate again later.

Chances and hope

There are always chances/hopes surrounding us. But why there are many peoples blaming that they are not as lucky to have opportunity for their carreer or their life?

Do they actually value their chances? Do they aware of that's actually chance?

They might be overlooked of their chances, and just let go. We should live with hope, and observe the chances around us. Then, you to decide whether you want to proceed to make use of the chances.

晚上如嗅到味道 If you smell something at night

传说晚上嗅到味道不可以有任何反应, 要装出一副没什么的样子. 这味道可能是幽灵所散发出来的. 如果你给反应, 那它们会认为你与它们有缘, 它们会跟你回家, 然后缠住你.
(There is a myth, if you smell anything at night, you are not suppossing to tell or show. You have to pretend like nothing. It's because the smell might be something that released by spirit to attract you. If you make a response, it's actually a confirmation to them that you have the fate with them. They will then follow you to go home.)

神婆儍冷和术乙就十分迷信, 十分相信. 所以, 千万别问她们有没有嗅到任何味道, 时间从傍晚五点开始吧. 别费气问她们有没有嗅到香或臭味. 她们的异口同声会让你怀疑自己出了问题.
(The "san poh" sharon and su yee deeply trust that. So, after 5pm, it's better that you do not ask them whether smell anything. Do not waste your time and saliva to ask them whether smell the aroma. There is actually an advantage . During chit-Chating session at night time, if they smelled someone fart, they will also pretend as nothing. So, if you want to fart, you dont have to store it in stomach. You have the freedom to fart. They love to share with you.

眼神 Eyes

眼神往往是我们不讲话时用来传达讯息的. 有时当我们想掩饰某些事情当儿, 偏偏眼神会出卖我们. (Have you ever use your eyes to communicate? Your eyes can hardly hide your thought, it could betray you.)

Suddenly, they recall both of them have the same believe, which is environmental friendly type. They are not allowed to receive any burned items when they go into hell. (**they realised that what they are doing, do not make them go to the heaven**)

(They both then came out with a fabulous idea. They will all burn to me, and they will collect from me. Am I going to have a shorter life than theirs?)

一群有自杀倾向的朋友 A group of friends who have thought to suicide

我有一班又怕死又想自杀的朋友. 先说比较进期的, 那也有两年多前了.
啊嫡莲, 他心情坏透了. 他工作不顺利, 他感情问题, 与人生的问题, 再加上他因为皮肤不好所吃的药, 倒至他心情更底落, 他想死. 但我猜他不敢自己一个孤单死去, 又刚好他在网络看到集体自杀的新闻. 他邀请我和傻冷一起陪他死. 这集体自杀有点困难, 所以我们都没有想过陪啊嫡莲.
( I have a group of friends who enjoy and appreciate their life so much, and yet thinking of suicide. Let's talk about the latest one, which happened 2 years ago.

Adrian was very unhappy with his job, his relationship and family problems, and worry about his future issues. Furthermore, because of his skin problems, his doctor instructed him to take the drug to treat his skin, but the drug can cause him depress. His depression then caused him wanted to die. But I think he dare not die alone, and in co-incident, he read a website that talking about Japan group suicide trend. He came to an idea, and invited Sharon and I to accompany him to die. This group suicide rules are difficult to us, therefore we never thought of going to die with him.)

再对上八年前, 啊南她千吩咐万吩咐, 想自杀的朋友千万要死得好看. 别选择跳楼, 因为会死得很烂, 还有如果后悔也没得救了. 最好是睡在 bath tub 开煤气, 加上红酒, 慢慢的死掉. 可是, 千万别参考, 因为 啊南並没有试过只是假想. 再加上自杀是最傻的事, 没有人会同情轻命的人. 你不在呼自己时, 你能 expect 别人尊重你吗?

两个人 A couple

两个人在一起, 有时是一种习惯. 有时不是因为感情/责任/爱情了. 这其实很可悲, 因为当其中一个想改变习惯, 那就是说, 这两个人在一起的习惯也得中断了.

(A couple together could be because of habit, but not because of love, relationship, or responsibility. This is very sad, because say one of them decided to change their habit, that means the couple habit/relationship should be ended. )

味道 Scent

我不晓得我的记忆是否与你的相似. 我对味道的记忆比较敏感, 换句话说, 是比较持久. 当忘记了一个人的样子, 微笑, 或声音, 但是味道是不会忘记的. 当然我指的是我曾经有进距离, 与有留意他/她的人, 还有重味道的人.

(I am more sensitive to scent in my memory, do you have the same thought as mine? In another words, scent memory last longer to me. Even when i forgot someone's look, smile, or voice, i can still remember the person's scent. Of course, those peoples that i meant were closed with me before, or those who I admire before, or the bad example is those who has strong scent.)

两个人在一起是件很困难的事. 生活习惯的不同, share bed 的痛苦, 鼻鼾声的扞擾, 等等等等!
当一切都没问题时, 两个人的事,慢慢扩充到两家人的事了. 这种威力不小于癌细胞的扩展. 伤害力可导至身亡.
(It's very difficult for a couple to live together. It can be because of the different lifestyle, sharing of bed, the annoying snore, and so on. When these have been settled, the couple matters will be upgraded to two families matters. The effect is not smaller than active cancer cell's expansion. It could be very hurt, and it could become fatal reason.)

马与草 Horse VS Grass

好马不吃回头草 (Good horse does not eat own stepped grass)
好草不怕回头吃 (It is okay to go back for good stepped grass )
又要马儿跑, 又要马儿不吃草 (You want to make the horse run, but you also want the horse does not eat grass)


以上三个句子都很有连系. (The above 3 sentences are related)
好马不吃回头草. 这指有骨气的马, 不吃它踩过的草. (Good horse does not eat own stepped grass. This means the horse that has strength of spirit, they persisted not eating stepped grass)

霖 Lin

"霖". 客家话的问侯词, 也是加强词.
("Lin" is a greeting word in Hakka. It can be used to emphasize a sentence too.)

每次当听到啊凡(傻冷介绍的朋友)拿起电话, 如果是哑比的朋友打来, 或他打去, 他说客家人喜欢先被称呼"霖西". 就像有了地位的那一种感觉.
(Sharon's friend, Fan always greets his KK's friends with this word on phone. He said Hakka speaker likes to be addressed as "Lin-C". It shows higher in status.)


然后, 如果听不清楚对方讲什么, 或不爽对方所讲的, 那么你可以说:"你 嗰嗯 买霖 啊?"
那么那人会重复他刚刚所说的, 或是知道你不爽了!
(But if you wanted the person to repeat what has been said on phone, or you are not "shiok" with what the person said, you can then say "Mai-Lin Ah!". By then the person will repeat what he just said or the person might know you are not "Shiok".

我的第一句客家话 My first Hakka

我的朋友珊从中学教我广东话到现在教我客家话. 傻冷也有教我一些.
她们说当塞车时, 隔壁车望过来时可以运用: "叼! 科昷 科昷 科昷, 科昷 买霖 啊!" . 意思是说, 看什么!

(My high school friend, Shan used to teach me Cantonese during high school time, and now she is teaching me Hakka. Sharon also taught me some. They said when there is a traffic jam, if the next car driver or passengers look at our car. Then, it's time to use "Diao! Kon Kon Kon, Kon Mai Lin AH!" It means "what are you looking at?")

如果是对这一个站在不远处的人来讲, 那你可以把第三与第四个手指钢中带柔地扫过那人的肩膀, 听说这样是比较有气势. 不信你也来试一试! 这是珊的密绝.

KML 的运用 The usage of KLM

很多人喜欢加一写形容词来加强句子的力量. 举个例子说:
1) "这女子很飘亮"- 在这句子里, "很"变成了加强词.
2) "这女子真的实在很飘亮" - 这句子又加强了原本的飘亮.
(There are many peoples like to playing with the usage of word to make the sentence more powerful. For example:
1) "She is very pretty". In this sentence, "very" is the powerful word in this sentence.
2) "She is really very pretty". Do you find this lady is prettier than previous sentence?)

有些有文化的朋友会加上人家的性器官来做加强的效果. 比如说:"那女子很兰飘亮" - "兰" 是得确发挥了做用, 那女子真的听起来比飘亮更飘亮了. 用法简单, 只须加"兰" 字在形容词前.

(Some of the friends with cultural background, they might add some organs to emphasize the sentence. For instance, "She is "Hou-lan" pretty". The "lan" in the sentence then make the lady sound prettier. It's easy to use, you just need to add "lan" in front of the adjective. )


如果你不喜欢这用法, 来今天我给你介绍这个"KML". "KML"是"含毛兰" 的英文缩写版. 它原自我的表姐, 广东人, 惯用福建话. 她说这个词还强过"兰" 字. 起初我心存怀疑, 但经过无数次的运用, 果真给我掌握到其中的密绝! 它的威力实在不小. opsss...我应该说, 它的威力大到 KML. 看到了吗? 它是用在句子的后面的. 用回同一个句子来形容那女子,我们可以说"那女子飘亮到 KML". 如果你说" 那女子很兰飘亮到 KML" 那你就错了, 因为你重复了加强词. 这使到句自变得有语病了.

(If you found this is common, and you don't like it, let me introduce you how to use "KML". KLM is abbreviation of "Ka Moh Lan". It's from my cousin, she is a Cantonese, but she speak Hokkien. She said KML is stronger than "lan". At the beginning I doubt about it, but after using it, it's surprisingly nice to add in, if you know how to use it. It's a very powerful, and flowerish word. Opss, I should say the word is powerful till KML. Do you see? It should be added at the end of the sentence. Let us use back the same example, we should say " she is pretty till KML". If you said the girl is "hou-lan" pretty till KML, then you are wrong. You shouldn't double use the emphasizing words. This is a grammar mistake. )

似曾相识 It seems familiar

你可否有似曾相识某某事情, 某某东西, 某某地方, 或某某人物? 你是否觉得这不是发生过了吗? 为什么又会再发生得一模一样? 是真的吗?
(Do you have the experience of seeing somethings, some places or somebody, and you found them familiar? Do you feel it happened before, but why it happened again and it's exactly the same thing? Is that true?)

那你相信, 这感觉是第6感, 前生今世, 还是还有另一个我们正在另一个空间以经刚刚做过此事? 矛盾的我, 相信我以上所假设的. 这种感觉实在奇怪, 有时发生时, 真的让我心跳加数, 不感呼吸.

小光光

昏迷了三天完完全全没有了知觉. 醒起来时还不知自己正在急症室被抢救着, 身上不晓得插了多少管子, 靠着氧气筒和其他机器来勉强呼吸, 还在口口声声说着工事.满脑子都是未做完的工作. 围着自己的亲朋戚友看着自己也忍不住心酸地掉起眼泪来.

当过了生命危险期, 比较清醒时, 才吓到, 还觉得自己实在大命, 这么严重的车祸还可生还. 无论如何一定要努力好起来. 当然其中也要惩受因身体弱与后遗症感染到其他病菌而复发种种以前没有的病.

在医院十在无耐. 人来人往, 各类的病人都有. 医生与护士都不停地来做检查. 有很多很年轻的实习生. 怎么不看报告就来问病人, 到底什么原因进入医院. 身为病人的他有种无力地感觉, 无耐地回答. 幸亏还可做答, 要不然医生很有可能不知如何判断病情. 他不断地告诉医生他的下半生没有知觉, 一边手臂没力, 与大小便不受控制. 没有人给他一个答案, 让他感到医生窝囊. 还有请回来的看护, 他们习惯了照顾头脑不清醒的病人, 然而对着清而有要求的他爱理不理, 不爽地对待, 让他感到很委曲. 脾气只好往家人身上发出.

情况逐渐有了好转. 终于被转向骨科. 心想应该很快就可以出院了. 就在心情好转时, 医生告诉了他一个很残酷的事实. 医生说他将永远都不能控制从肚脐以下的半个身. 什么? 一生了吗? 突然脑袋的东西都要给丢了, 以前的计划, 与打算都要给化成灰了.

之后的每一天都望着天花板, 不敢想任何东西. 也不知睡了多久, 或因没好好照顾, 背后的肉死坏了. 护士把死了的肉给挖出, 竟然是那么的大片肉给挖出, 那么多的血, 而自己一点感觉都没有. 他真的希望也宁愿有痛的感觉.

突然觉得自己回到了儿时. 一切由妈妈来摆布. 还有哥与几个亲戚. 活了二十八年, 经过所有风风浪浪, 只有这一次, 十再难受, 最痛苦了. 今时不同往日, 很多时侯要忍下来. 心爱的家人对不起, 他只能向你们发出真感情, 即发脾气.

他並没有因为睡在病床上而殇矢他原有的敏感. 他知到在病房里的其他人都一直很注意他. 他猜想是因为只有他一人最静, 不与其他病人沟通. 我静静的不出声, 因为我想是他的伤口引起了他们的注意.

朋友的探望其实对他来说是十分的重要. 只是朋友们可能觉得压力很大不知讲什么, 而他也感压力不知说什么. 只好静静. 最好是大家当他平常一样. 他最无耐的另一件事是, 朋友走之前会说: 如有什么想要的, 不防吿诉我. 他觉得痛苦吧! 他最想要的是他的双腿, 难到他说了出来愿望会成真吗? 即然不可能, 那还有什么是想要的?
一个月过去了. 还有多久, 才能真正的习惯这样的生活? 希望上帝可以制造奇迹, 换他双腿的感觉

四个月后的今天, 他开朗多了. 他有了自己的信仰. 他相信希望, 与充满信心, 回到了以前的他. 这有好有不好. 据医生所提共的消息, 他好回的机会十在渺茫, 如果他知道真向, 他该怎么办? 那是另外一个打击了.

他还在医院僚养院中. 现在的他终于肯与旁边的人和护士医生打交道了. 他的笑声驯化了.

了解其中的意思吗? 缘是来来去去的. 当不对劲时, 你可能可以圆来圆去.成功的话, 那缘会回来. 失败的话, 缘去, 圆不来. 但是神奇的是, 另一段缘又会来. 重重复复像轮回般的.
(It's a little confusing as i directly translate it from Chinese to English. Fate is everywhere, you might want to make use of the fate, therefore you need to "round your fate" (Find way to smooth it), or when you found it not right. If you were successful, then the fate will then remain with you. Conversely, if you fail keep it, the fate might be gone. It's very weird, the next fate will still come to you. And it's like a never ending cycle like. There is always hope and opportunity in the life. Hope and opportunity just go to peoples who believe in them. Those who do not believe them, might not realise there is hope and opportunity are actually surrounding them.)

现在的我, 像拿了号码在排对投胎地等待另一段缘. 缘缘缘缘, 圆圆圆圆!!!
( I am now like taking number in a long queue to go for another life, waiting for my next up and coming fate. FATE FATE FATE FATE, a better fate eh!)

KL 的夜生活算很不错拉!让伤心的人开心, 让开心的人更开心, 也让原本想散散心的朋友们更开心. 相信我的知心朋友们应该知道我的意思了. 必竟我们一起度过了风风雨雨, 上刀山, 下油涡.

(KL night life is a good choice for peoples who are sad, but looking for happiness, or make those poeples who are happy become happier, or make those bored people become happier. Believe or not, my closed friends know what i meant here. We experienced that together.)

只是请大家多多照顾自己, 喝醉了别驾驶. 如果想回家, 那下次带不喝酒的朋友一同去.

(A small reminder to my friends, please take care of yourselve when you night out. If you were drunk, please do not drive back. If you wanted to go home, don't drink or bring a non-alcoholic drinker friends along next time.)

如遇上警察手查行动, 那傔虚些, 不要摆出杀人凶手样或冷死样. 不幸的话可能你就不能有个安乐的晚上, 可能你会上那种像载猪的猪笼车回警局的. 这会让朋友们担心的哦!

(If you were so unlucky and met a police's "Operasi", be humble. Please do not show your killer's look or "lan-C"s look. If really that bad luck, then you might be sent away by "piglet truck" to police station. Then, you might waste your time and just make your friends worry about you! and by then, your friends will focus you as the topic of the year.)

吃得不好"嗮"! Do not practice wastage

记得小时候, 大人时常说:"赶快把食物吃了, 不要浪费, 吃得不好"嗮"!"
长大后那小孩可能就先入为主的吃得不好"嗮". 那凡事都什么都"扫光", 不经过滤. 包过在感情上的问题.

(If you could recall, when we were young, our parents always tell us that " please finish your food, don't waste it, finish those can be eaten". When the kids grow up, usually they have input what they have learnt before. Do not waste what can be eaten, therefore, they always swept everything, and without filtering it. It's included their love relationship issues.)

未结婚的可能一个人有多个爱人s; 结了婚的可能有个法律上承认的伴侣再加上多个情人s. 这种人会真心对待他/她的情人s与爱人s吗? 他/她知道自己的真正所要吗?谁(s)是最好的?

(Those who is unmarried, they might have more than one lovers, for those who is married, they might have one legally recognized partner, plus many other lovers. Will this type of peoples treat their lovers trully? Do they really know what they want? Who is the best to them?)

我觉得这人很空虚吧. (I found them lonely and empty)

其实, 有时吃不完可以不吃, 那才不会涨坏胃. 你可选择丢掉或收起来在它坏掉或变质之前再考虑吃不吃. 情人也一样.

(Sometimes, it is not good to finish those leftover food, when you can't. It's not good for your digestive system. You may choose to throw it or keep it. If you kept it, you may consider to eat it before it turns bad. It's the same as how to keep your love relationships.)

有时, 你也不知到底他/她是隔夜菜/饭, 还是你也可能是他/她的剩菜剩饭?

(Think over again, for those multi-lovers peoples, would you know whether s/he is your leftover food/dishes or actually you are her/his leftover food/dishes?)

男人的择偶条件之考虑 Men's consideration when choosing partner

她的样子? (Her look?)
她的薪金? (Her salary?)
她的职位? (Her job position?)
她的家庭背景? (Her family background?)
她的学励? (Her education background?)
她的动产与不动产? (Her fix assets and current aseets?)


以上的问题如果不成问题, 那恭喜她, 她样子合格,再加上 他很大可能是个很有条件的男人. 要不然, 最坏的打算是, 她可能须要养他了....哦!哦!

(If the above is not in his consideration, then congratulation! Your look is accepted, and he might be a very good in his qualification. Or else, the worst I could think of is, lady, you might need to sponsor him....Oh.!!.Oh..!!!.)

大男人与小男人

市面上的男人, 一望下去, 很多都很大男人. 那看起来才像做大事的. 对女人呼呼喝喝, 确实是有男人气概.而温柔体贴的则被人称为怕女人的男人.
(When the age grow, i just realised man "big" men in the market. They look very productive, many things are waiting for them to settle, without them the things cannot be settled. They talk laudly without repect to their partner. It shows their style. If they treat their woman politely or softly, they afraid peoples might said they are women's slave.)

1) 哪一种男人会吃香呢?
我个人觉得刚柔兼有的男人最好.
(1) Which type of man actually more favourable?, i personally found a mixture of both is better of course)

在人前人后, 有个温柔的男人在身边, 多体贴. 在被人欺负时又可以保护你的那一种. 哇!好甜蜜的感觉!
(He will then very caring and understanding. But when someone bully me, he can still protect me. How sweet?)

2) 什么又是大男人中的小男人?
那就是对女人态度恶劣又大大声讲话, 但是又可有脸地要求笨女人为他付出一切, 为他做他所没有能力去做的. 这种男人是有很多朋友的, 他们大多数"讲义气".
(2) what is "big man" with "Small man" characteristics?
Those men who speak laudly to their women without respect, but they are yet very demanding. They are asking the stupid woman to sacrify to him, assist him to do something he is unable to. This type of man, usually they have many friends. They treat their friends much more better than her.)

3) 什么又是小男人中的大男人?
呐呐呐! 我想这种也不错. 他对她可能温柔, 但未必听话. 他应该是有自己主见的. 所以, 这种男人比较会为女人打算将来. 也就是说, 他会为她而奋斗, 以她以后的好生活做为目标. 除了照顾自己, 也想照顾女人, 自己的家, 女人的家, 和计划中与女人一起创造的家. 至少女人以后不必为生活需求而担心. 他朋友不多, 只喜欢与他的女人在一起, 福建话有个金言所谓: "女人抱紧紧, 朋友不插削(不理的意思)".
(3) What is "small man" but with "big man" characteristics?
Na Na nA...i think this type of man is not bad. He is caring, but he might not be a follower all time. He supposes to have his own thought. So, this type of man is more planning oriented. He is willing to make his woman into his future plan. In another words, he willing to work extra hard to provide her a better life. Besides taking care of himself, he will also take care of his woman, his own family and his woman's family. Of course, he also have a family plan with the woman. At least the woman does not need to worry about his basic needs in the future. This type of man, he has not many friend. He just likes to hang out with the girl friend. There is a proverb in Hokkien " zha boh lam diao diao, peng yew boh chap siao", it means they just ignore friends, they just like girl).

对女人来说, 小男人中的大男人会很理想, 但是又想他有点义气.那完了. 因为大男人的成份又高了!
(To represent ladies, i think "small man but with big man characteristics" type is ideal type. In additional, i think if he can treat friends better, it's better. But then, he will be very big man again, as man likes to show off their ability in front of friends. Sh*t...

突然, 有很多话想说, 但又不知谁愿意听我发牢骚. 这会是东南西北之谈..哈哈...
