Teoh Chew Street Food

Last night, Joshua (my brother) found a blog, which the blogger introduce a Teoh Chew street food at Tmn Bahagia near SS2. It looks so nice on pics. So we decided to hunt for it! We want to find good Teoh Chew food (we are Teoh Chew kia). We both commented that Mom's Teoh Chew food is not traditional and not that good taste. We miss good Teoh Chew food!!!

So, today I met Joshua and Crystal (his gf) after work at SS2. Then we went to find this place. We reached there around 6.45pm.

This is the street. Not many stalls though.

We also found the stall, which we were looking for!!!Here it is. Ah....but nothing there except they were boiling water.
Okay! Drink and sweet sweet mari.....
Red Bean sweet soup
Ice-Kacang!

Let me taste ha sin.....Ha...damn hungry. The uncle next stall told us, normally stall open at 7-8pm. Yesterday was early, open about 7.30pm. Shoot....it's only 6.45pm....Well....gotta try other side dishes then...

One plate of gum heong la la! It really taste so good. From the stall, we didn't expect to turn up so good!

Then we ordered a mamak fried noodle. Sorry no picture here, as we were hungry, forgot to shoot it.
Then we ordered this fish. I asked auntie...."Auntie, what fish do you have for grill?" Auntie said, "I have soli fish". What??? Soli fish? I didn't catch it. So I asked again, "Auntie, what's soli fish?" She explained to me "it is fish without bone, taste very good one!". Okay, let's try. It taste very good also. This stall is the same as gum heong la la stall.

Then I found out that, it's not soli fish. It should be dory fish!!!

Oh finally, around 8.15pm, when every table of peoples are waiting for the Teoh Chew stall to open, the boss finally came. We thought the set up time must be long, but they are pretty efficient. It took them approximately 5 mins to get ready to sell. They are all with "Hong Leong T-shirt" as uniform. We wonder are they working at Hong Leong. Therefore, they can't set up their stall any earlier.

Ehmm...Ehm....let's see what do they have!
Mee Jaya (Kedah Style)
Mee Diao (friend Teoh Chew noodle)

Chai Kueh

At the stall.....
They are pretty hygiene. They have closed section for the food. Inside that's guan zhiang and chai kueh.

Okay. Comment time!!!
Overall, I think the food there is good. Every stall of food also taste very nice, really!!! EXCEPT, the Teoh Chew stall, that you have to self-service, you have to Q-up to buy!!!And you have to wait!!!!

We thought my mom is cooking chin chai, we have new thought now. If mom willing to make the kueh, and fry the mee diao, she will get very famous!!! Really!!! Mom's cooking for Teoh Chew cuisine is much better loo!!!

I wanna "yai cheong" to the blog who blog that stall. To whom who recommend this stall!!!

Please lar!!
