July

July in Chinese Lunar Calender is a very big festive event in the year. It's called the Ghost Month. Peoples use roast pork, roast chicken, roast duck, fruits, canned items, and those paper collections to pray, and to burn to the "brothers". It's the ghosts opened days. Its free days for them to move freely. Therefore, in July usually we are not encouraged to go out in the night time.

And I wonder if Caucasian has this type of festive or not. FYI, Hong Kong people call white, as "guai lou". The "ghost man".

And I wonder if my sis's bf, Chris is one of the guai lou who has Chinese believe. He comes to Malaysia every July since my sister came back from study. July is his opened day! He is coming again this Friday, July the 20th. :P
