Wild Swan

Been so attach to a book lately, I am addicted to it. It was written by Chang Jung, the first Chinese from PRC who received a doctorate from a British University. Still at the half way of reading it, but I've learned and gain a lot from this book.

Wild Swan, it's not a fiction, but a real story of three generations of female from a family in China. Chang Jung is telling her own family story from her grandma, mother and herself. The story is mostly focus on her mum, what had she contributed to the revolution, and how she willing to sacrifice for her nation. Yet she treated unfairly by the party she devoted to.

It's a book to reveal the true, about what's communism about from 1930 onward, how they took on GuoMingtang, and what goodness and harms there did to china. Its gives me an in depth understanding of what's really happening at that time in China. One of the reason Chang Jung wrote this was she hopes to give her mother justice.

This book is probably banned in China, as its says too much about the communism, and reveal too much about the truth. Yet it's the best novel I'd read lately, strongly recommended. Do find and read this book if it's possible. As it's not just touching, but very encouraging. It's about 3 extraordinary woman that fought for their own justice, they still stand strong in whatsoever critics and terror they faced.

Book of the year for me!!
